Highline Yoga: Enjoy a yoga class at NYC’s newest park.

 Artists from the indie institution prepare collaborative sculptures, hula-hooping workshops, and lessons in double Dutch.

There’s No Place Like Home:
Grab your ruby slippers and head to central park for a free outdoor showing of The Wizard of Oz. Don’t miss the pre movie performances by Jennifer Hudson, Julianne Hough, and Questlove.
Where:Rumsey Playfield, Central Park Manhattan
When: Sept. 29 (ok so technically not the weekend) @ 7:30 p.m. concert
 8:30 p.m.- movie

When you’re alone and life is making you lonely you can always go downtown!
Head downtown to the soft opening of Sweetwater Tavern and Grill

Life Essentials Opening

The exhibition of more than 100 artists debuts with a concert by Ancient Astronauts, live painting, and alternative performances. Proceeds benefit the International Lifeline Fund, which provides humanitarian and environmental aid in Africa.

Pass the Spanakopita!
Grab your gladiators and go Greek at the Tate of Greece Festival. Enjoy live music, dancing, wine and food.
